I love crafts.  I spend alot of time making crafts for friends and gifts.  I used to make them to sell,  but I decided I did not have the time to devote to it. I first should tell you a little bit about my style.  I do not sew a straight line so my crafts consist of no sewing.  I love old dolls and quilts and such but I cannot make them.  I have many friends that do sew and have blessed me with some beautiful dolls and quilts.  Thank you to all of you.  I love the crafts that look old and primitive .  I also have many americana things. Which I adore.

Rubberstamping

I started rubberstamping about 8years ago and I have a small collection of stamps. I didn't realize how many techiques there were until recently(the last year or so).  Seems like you can't keep up with the craze as quickly as  things come along.  I love to doodle with them for my own personal use.  My daughter loves to play with them as well. She has a wonderful "Wizard of Oz" set.  She likes to use them to make a story.  Stamps are alot of fun. They can be relatively expensive.Make sure you take proper care of your stamps and they will last you a lifetime.  Always clean them after each use. These are a few links that I use to gather information. I hope that you can find some useful info here as well.

Projects

Herb Rack

Make yourself your own herb rack. It is very simple. Take a piece of lumber or old barn wood and if you want it to be primitive add some old nails in it to use for the pegs. If would rather, buy pegs at your local craft store and insert into the lumber that you have pre-carved out the holes.  Then decide how you will hang this on your wall.
